Don't you hate going through old sketchbooks?

My desktop computer got trashed after the fire, but I managed to eviscerate and salvage the hardrive. For many days I've been going through my godawful old files cerca 2004 and deleting a bunch of godawful abominations that I saved for whatever ridiculous reasons. |D;; Today I got around to sorting out my folder full of my drawings. I had a bunch of subfolders named stuff like "meh" "decent" "fine" "godawful abominations" etc. It got pretty vague to tell what kind of files were where. So I did a biiig sort-through today and organized my drawings by good, meh and horrid. Final results are:

Good: 65 files
Meh: 90 files
Horrid: 66 files

I'm in the meh range! Not bad if I do say so myself!

I also found a bunch of cryptic files and drawings I don't remember making or have completely forgotten about

NO I DON'T HATE IT AT ALL. Actually no, the ones on the computer are really awful; I had to go through them the other day on accident too. TAT But my old traditional stuff was like, "AWWW I WAS PATHETIC!! ;A;" I pity my past self.

I REMEMBER THOSE SAM TYLER ONES; YOU SENT ME THOSE. I love the one in his patterned shirt. ;o; That one was awesome!

Also I am not humiliated in the least; I am so proud of those drawings. Are you implying I shouldn't be? |:

God I have about eight sketchbooks lying on the kitchen table of my old house. They're all hideous beyond belief; I can't pity someone who drew those things. |: |: Terrible.

alsdjf I'm starting to think it was too. A bit. ... Dang why did I delete that. :c I think it was because all sorts of messy and terrible and the number of layers were reaching triple-digits and I was feeling overwhelmed.

D'awww but you haven't seen mine. ;;; There's nothing you can do but pity me. I was so into neopets and shit. OTL It's all horrid, horrid stuff. xDDD

OH BUT I HAVE I've seen a few back in the day, remember? You showed them to me!
And that's alright. I have sketchbooks full of Invader Zim and Inu-Yasha garbage. I went through some ridiculous faux-emo phase in 5th grade; it was terrible.

:c :c :c Maybe I haven't deleted it. I'll poke around my old hardrive some more. I do love a good Sam Tyler. I've been wanting to make a legit fanart of him for a while. ;_;

Yes I vaguely remember. But I found the GRAND DADDY old sketchbook while cleaning; it is my absolute first one. o___o It's hideous, ahahaha.

I STILL HAVE THAT YEAH aurgh so godawful. From when we were required to buy sketchbooks and crap in elementary school for art class.

I remember all those LoM ones, the one where TCG was his shadow and the one where Sam is just afraid of all lolis because they tell him he's all alone in the world and the one where he had really red eyes ;_; They were all good! And... if you're saying TCG and other lolis harrassing Sam was a bad idea then I'm sorry I give you bad ideas. ]8< ]8< ]8< I'm going to go over here and pout.
